Mother's Day Hamper Giveaway

Mother's Day isn't a wholly joyful day for everyone - some people have lost their mothers, some have lost children, some haven't had the children they long for, but we can still celebrate the people in our lives who provide us with affection, guidance and baking tips.

As well as being a good hugger, my mother taught me to read which seeded my love of books and stories. She's still in charge at eighty-six, still travelling and using WhatsApp like a pro! I hope I'm as brilliant when I'm her age.

My children are all away from home for mother's day this year each doing their thing, but although I'll miss them, I'm proud I sent them on their way!

THE RULES / Terms and Conditions

Mother’s Day Hamper available to UK residents only due to postage and customs restrictions. Overseas residents will be offered an alternative book-based prize. Closes 23:59 (GMT) 15 March 2026No giveaway or spam accounts. The prize will be awarded for the story which is the best in the opinion of the judges. Winner will be contacted via direct message and must acknowledge their win within 10 days or be redrawn. Once you have accepted the prize, you and your nominated mother-figure will be tagged in a post announcing the winner. We would be grateful if you would post/re-post about your win.
